During the Spring of 2002, a Rusalka had lured off, screwed, and drowned thirty-six college boys up and down the coast of New England. Jefferey Sudz had spent the past nine months searching newspaper headlines for such an occurrence since something unknown had come in the night and tore his Succubus mother and human father to shreds. Despite his mother’s final wish for him to forget her and live a normal life, Jefferey sets out to hunt the Rusalka with a single ultimatum in mind: change her murderous ways and help him hunt the creatures that took his parents… or die. Jefferey, however, will soon discover that a Rusalka’s heart is as deep and rocky as the seas that cradle her dead.

Christopher J. Oatis has been writing and telling stories since he was in High School. He creates in an eclectic style of genres from Fantasy to Sci-Fi and Horror to Contemporary Drama and a little bit of everything in between. Regardless of what he writes, his work always seems to gravitate to the exploration of the common human heart and its desire to discover the magic that unites us all.
